Update – Chair-Initiated Complaint into the In-Custody Death of Raymond Silverfox, Whitehorse, Yukon, December 2, 2008

The Commission for Public Complaints Against the RCMP's (CPC) has completed its independent probe into the December 2, 2008, in-custody death of Raymond Silverfox.

The CPC provided the RCMP with its interim report on September 7, 2010. Once the CPC has received the RCMP's response (known as the Commissioner's Notice), the CPC will publicly release its Final Report into the death of Mr. Silverfox.

When a report is publicly released, all elements of the investigation are available for review and scrutiny (while respecting privacy laws and other legal requirements).
